This set of computer games has been created by Ray Maher and Fiery Ideas to provide parents with an effective set of tools to support their children in learning their times tables. Ray, an internationally renowned Maths Consultant ad ex-Headteacher has worked alongside schools, pupils and parents - running workshops and training promoting numeracy skills. In particular he has worked to support children and families in developing their numeracy skills. He has a down to earth approach to basic numeracy which has been well received by schools, pupils and parents alike. His methods also capture the best use of modern technology. For many years Ray has worked alongside Fiery Ideas, a software programming company run by a currently serving Headteacher. Between us we have harnessed the best that modern teaching methods and technology have to offer to produce simple to use, engaging and effective software which really impacts on children and increases their numeracy skills. Many schools up and down the country use Fiery Ideas software. Learn Your Tables has been designed specifically with parents in mind to provide short, fun, engaging daily tasks for children of the primary age range (Year 1 to Year 6) to help support the learning of tables. The games can be used independently by children but even more effectively alongside a parent.
