The programs themselves are small and simple in their nature, deliberately so, because we know teachers do not have hours to invest in learning new pieces of software.
We like to think of them as “stocking fillers” that can be dropped into lessons and planning.

Gorilla Games in a set of 9 fun and engaging programmes can be used by both pupil and teacher alike to promote numeracy in schools. They can be adapted to be use from Reception all the way through to Key Stage 3.
We do, however, recommend that they are at their most powerful when teacher led as a class game or group game. This provides teachers the opportunities to clear up pupil misconceptions, use them as a tool for assessment for learning and therefore truly begin to address personalised learning.
They are designed to be as open ended as possible, fun, engaging and to be used as stocking fillers to give a mental oral starter or main activity a little more pizazz!
